  • Are you prone to self-sabotage? Are you binge eating and want to stop?
  • Feeling stuck in low-esteem and confidence?

CBT will help you look at how you think about yourself, the world and your future. It will also help you understand how your thoughts affect your feelings and behaviours. You will also learn how what you do affects your thought life and emotional life. Making changes to your thinking and behaviours can help you feel better

“Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them”

Epictetus

CBT can help you break down your problem which can feel overwhelming into manageable parts. This allows you to see a clearer picture of how all the part are connected and where and what you can change to produce a different more helpful outcome.

You will learn to look at the problem or difficult situation you are struggling with in terms of

  • Your thoughts about it
  • The physical feelings you are experiencing
  • Your emotions and
  • Your behaviours…the choices you make and action you take

They are all connected…each part having an effect on the other. You will learn how you the helpful and unhelpful ways of responding to the circumstances you find yourself in.

CBT will help you become your own therapist
