Positive ageing and well-being coaching for those who want to make the most of their second half

I am passionate about supporting and motivating people in middle age and beyond who seek a very different approach to ageing than they may have observed in previous generations in their family.

Successful ‘agers’ accept that although their bodies grow older, that doesn’t have to stop them continuing to grow and develop and move forward in new directions. People often describe growing older in very negative terms and even from the age of 40 some people will tell you it’s all downhill from there. In fact you have decades of life experience and the skills, knowledge and wisdom that accrues; that’s an asset, so there’s no reason why you can’t make your second half your best half.

Attitude is key; if you view the ageing process as an opportunity for further personal growth and development rather than a process that will limit you, you will live a much richer life and probably a longer life. It’s about being psychologically flexible; embracing the rough along with the smooth; being optimistic about your future and caring for your physical and emotional health and making the most of the journey.

Ageing well will not just happen; it requires a decision and action. If we choose to, there is a great deal we can do to cultivate a positive approach to getting older that facilitates emotional resilience and a future that is full of possibility. I would love to support you in exploring such a journey.
